Available and up for your consideration at JLD Auto Group is this 1965 Shelby Cobra by Factory Five! Finished in 'Guardsman Blue' with white stripes and a black interior, this example only has 5k miles on the current drivetrain, which was installed in 2018. Specifically, the drivetrain begins with a Ford Racing 302 V8 roller block, machined and seasoned to 347 cubic inches; it is a 347 450HP SBF Stroker Crate Engine, ultimately mated to a 650 TKO 5-speed Manual Transmission, sending power to the rear wheels via an 8.8 3.73 rear differential. An Eagle Steel Crankshaft with a 3.400 stroke is fitted, along with Eagle I-Beam Connecting Rods. High Performance Forged Pistons are present, as are a Performance Rod/Main Bearing, along with ARP Main Bolts. A three-piece Double Roller Timing Set, Comp Cams Custom Ground Hydraulic Roller Camshaft, and Hydraulic Roller Lifters are also all installed. Furthermore, Edelbrock Performance Aluminum Cylinder Heads and an Aluminum Intake Manifold are also present, as are Performance Roller Rockers and an MSD Pro-Billet Distributor. Carburetor duties are carried out via a Holley Ultra HP 750CFM. Altogether, a dyno test for this build reflected numbers of a little more than 470hp and 450 lb-ft of torque.

Additional upgrades done to this car include Ford Racing Aluminum Blue Valve Covers and a Ford Racing Air Cleaner. Suspension-wise, this Cobra features a Front Anti-Sway Bar, along with Tubular Arms and Coil Shocks. Power Brakes are also present to provide ample stopping ability. Beyond performance, this example originally built in 2001 includes leather seats with 4-Point Simpson Racing Harnesses for the driver and passenger. A wood-rimmed steering wheel is era-appropriate and harks to originality, as do the American Racing Shelby wheels. AC pedal covers adorn the driver's footwell, and of course the iconic Shelby side-exit exhausts are present. A dash-mounted rear-view mirror and driver-side side-view mirror are both mounted for enhanced visibility, and a single roll-bar is present on the drivers' side behind the cabin.

Supplementally included with this example are extra filters, belts, a spare Pedal Cover, and a few other spare parts. Additionally, new tires + a new battery are installed, and a Car Cover is also included along with the accompaniment of 3 sets of keys. A great-looking Shelby Cobra with only 5k miles on the drivetrain, this is a great example ready to provide someone with the thrills of a Cobra driving experience.
