The Roush P-51 Mustang is a commemorative edition built to celebrate Jack Roush's affinity for both aviation and performance vehicles, especially for the influence of the P-51 Mustang Aircraft in American History. This Mustang was referred to as "The Most Powerful American Pre-Titled Car Ever Built," as it produces 727hp from the 5.0L V8, which is supercharged by a Phase 2 Upgraded 2.3L TVS Supercharger--and yes, you can absolutely hear it when throttling up. Beyond a massive amount of horsepower, the Roush P-51 brings in a host of other upgrades, including a Roush Active Quad Tip Exhaust with Rear Valance. Also installed is the TrakPak 3-Way Coil-over Suspension and Extreme Duty Half Shafts, further complemented by the Performance Friction Brake Rotor and Pad Package. Lightweight Roush TrakPak Wheels by Weld are also equipped, and are wrapped in Continental Sport Contact Tires.

Cosmetically, the P-51 features Roush front and rear fascias, along with a TrakPak Carbon Fiber Lower Front Splitter with 'P-51' stanchions. Beyond this is an 'Olive Drab' Hood Scoop Painting, which is anti-glare and also helps manage engine bay heat. The hood features Hood Heat Extractors, and above the hood is the Roush Windshield Banner. Around back, a Unique Carbon Fiber Decklid Spoiler is present, accompanied by the Roush Rear Blackout Panel. Inside, the P-51 features a special 'Bomber Jacket' Leather Interior--a beautiful shade of brown to provide some color contrast from the 'Ingot Silver Metallic' Exterior. Roush Door Sills and a P-51 Gauge Cluster Overlay are also included, as is a Serialized P-51 Dashboard Medallion. The Active Exhaust switch is mounted near the center console gear lever, and Roush P-51-themed Floor Mats can also be set inside the cockpit. Finally, as an impressive touch to detail, hand-painted P-51 Badging can be found on the exterior, with two on the front quarter panels and one on the front high-flow grille. More Roush badging and plaques can be found within the engine bay, which is signed by Jack Roush.

The Roush P-51 Mustang originally started its life as a 2017 Mustang GT, and thus features tech and safety features from the model.
