Suspension is independent at all four corners, featuring direct double-acting hydraulic shock absorbers. Cosmetically, the 1965 model year features a smoother hood without depressions or distractions, yet adds louvers behind the front wheels to aid with air flow and cooling for the engine compartment. A new grille is also present, along with bright aluminum body sill moldings. Yet, the C2 design remains largely unchanged from previous years, maintaining its iconic state as the Sting Ray.
